PROF. DR. BERNHARD WOLF
Medical Technology
Prof. Bernhard Wolf is head of the Steinbeis Transfer Center Cell-Chip Technologies at the Technischen Universität München, and also holds the Heinz Nixdorf - Chair for Medical Electronics. Furthermore, Prof. Wolf is member of the Scientific Advisory Council of TüV South-Bavaria and scientific head of the working group Medical Technology for VDE. Main emphasis of his research are the realization of biohybride, microsensor-based Lab-on-Chip-Systems, tumor-diagnostic and therapy, as well as the development of sensor chips up to their industrial realization in practice. Further fields of research are the development of intelligent implants, telemedicine, system-biological research, and the therapy and diagnostic with magnetic fields.
