As a former long-time CEO of the Kirch Group, Dr Karl Mauthe has extensive insights into the European media industry, where he has accompanied numerous transactions in a central position. During his time as CEO of KirchMedia, Dr Mauthe was in charge of the technical department. He was also Managing Director of the KirchMedia subsidiary BetaBusinessTV, MediaServiceCenter Rhein-Augustin, BetaTechnik Beteiligungs GmbH and MZM Medien Zentrum Mitte GmbH.
